The pole is not like on Penelope or on Ithaka atomizers but it will have o-rings around it and it will stay always steady in place after you adjust it.
Both Tilemahos V2 and Tilemahos V2 plus atomizers give you the ability to empty the collector tank without the need of disassembling the whole atomizer.
